Cookie Policy

We don't show a cookie consent banner because every cookie Geocodinated sets is either strictly necessary for the Service to work, or narrowly functional — never advertising or tracking — and doesn't legally require consent under GDPR/ePrivacy rules. Instead, here's the complete, exhaustive list.

That's the complete list — first-party cookies, both of them. We don't use advertising or tracking cookies, and there's no Google Analytics, Meta/Facebook Pixel, or similar tool anywhere in the app.

A few features use your browser's local/session storage instead of cookies. None of this is sent to our servers, and none of it identifies you:

• detecting a crash/reload while viewing an embedded map, so it can recover gracefully;
• a per-session flag used to avoid double-counting an analytics event within the same visit; and
• whether you've already seen the first-time onboarding tour in the map editor, so it doesn't repeat itself.

Our Contact page has a “Live chat” tab that loads Tawk.to's chat widget — but only if you actively click that tab. It never loads anywhere else on the site. If you open it, Tawk.to may set its own cookies under its own domain, governed by Tawk.to's own cookie and privacy policy, outside our control.

You can clear or block cookies at any time through your browser's settings. If you do, you'll be signed out of Geocodinated and your sidebar preference will reset to default — nothing else on the site depends on cookies.

See our Privacy Policy for how we handle personal data more broadly, and our Terms of Service for the terms that govern your use of Geocodinated.
